About Toby Ford

Toby is a highly accomplished and versatile engineer with over 25 years of experience in intruder alarms, CCTV, intercom systems, access control, and fully integrated security solutions. His work spans from high-end domestic properties to large commercial buildings, with extensive expertise in networking systems and whole-property WiFi distribution.

He is the Managing Director of IQ Service & Maintenance Ltd and plays a key role within IQ Your Home, overseeing both home automation and electronic security systems. Toby remains hands-on across projects, from system design through to installation, while also mentoring and developing a team of electronic security engineers.

Toby has worked closely with the Metropolitan Police, contributing to system design, coordinating programmes of work, and attending pre-construction and construction meetings throughout project lifecycles. This experience has helped him build strong relationships with both public sector organisations and high-end private clients.

His strength lies in designing the right system for each customer — ensuring every installation is seamless, reliable, and built to perform to the highest standard.
